Why the writers' strike wasn't so bad

The Writers Guild of America is finally going back to work, and new episodes of TV series will begin to return to the airwaves. But I don't think I am as happy about the end of the writers' strike as most people. My favorite TV shows are game shows, news, and reality shows, so I actually enjoyed the change in programming that resulted from the strike. I really liked "Duel," "The Power of 10," and "Moment of Truth." It would have been even better if the networks had decided to replace some of their scripted series with news shows! Oh well, there'll always be CNN and the Fox News Channel...
